Marinade For Steak

The snow has melted (Well, in most places -- we do live in Canada, after all), and people are firing up their barbecues. We barbecue all year 'round, but we're hardcore like that.

One of our go-to meals is steak, soaked in the marinade that I've been making for over ten years now. It's best when the steak is placed in the marinade the day before you plan to grill it, but even a few hours will do.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup vegetable oil?2/3 cup soya sauce?1/3 cup red wine vinegar?1/3 cup lemon juice?4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce?3 Tbsp Dijon mustard?3 garlic cloves, minced.?1 onion, sliced?Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:

Mix together in a glass roasting dish, and coat steaks. Place in refrigerator. When ready to grill, put onions and some of the marinade in tin foil and let them cook on the barbecue while grilling steaks.

Use your mad grilling skills and enjoy the flavour of the marinade.

Here's to summer!
