My eldest son had a birthday in December, and for his birthday he wanted two things: To spend his birthday money at the mall and to have dinner at his favourite restaurant. Both requests were granted, and our family of five and some other family members met for dinner. We ordered a table full of appetizers, and one of them was one that I knew I had to replicate at home because it was polished off in no time. I made it at home and it was even better than what we had in the restaurant.
You can buy pizza shells if making dough isn't your thing, but I have a great pizza dough recipe if you do like to make dough. As for the toppings, let's get the party started.
Your smoky BBQ sauce of choice
Diced BBQ chicken (I tossed two chicken breasts in the slow cooker with a cup of BBQ sauce on low for 3 hours)
1 package of bacon, cooked and chopped
1/2 red onion, sliced thinly
More BBQ sauce
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Spread BBQ sauce on pizza dough, and be generous.
Place chicken, bacon, and onion on pizza dough.
Drizzle Ranch sauce over pizza, sprinkle with parsley leaves, and cover with mozzarella cheese
Bake according to pizza shell (or my recipe's) directions.
