Tourtiere Burrito

A Mexican twist on a French Canadian classic! ...MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil

1 lb (500 g) ground pork

1 large onion, chopped

2 carrots, chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped

1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground cinnamon, optional

1 pkg (510 g) Old El Paso* Burrito Kit

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook the pork until no longer pink. Add onion, carrot and celery and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.

Stir in cinnamon (if using), burrito seasoning mix, and 1 1/4 cups (300 mL) water.

Reduce heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.

Warm the tortillas according to package directions. Divide filling among tortillas and top with salsa.

Fold up bottom and sides to serve.
