Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500 g) lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) milk
  • 3 cups (750 mL) hot water
  • 1 pkg Hamburger Helper* Beef Noodle
  • 1 cup (250 mL) quartered mushrooms
  • 1 cup (250 mL) fresh sugar snap peas
  • 1 small red pepper, coarsely chopped
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley

Steps

    In large nonstick skillet, cook beef and chopped onion over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain.

    Stir in milk, hot water, Sauce Mix, uncooked Pasta, mushrooms, sugar snap peas, and peppers.  Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

    Reduce heat, cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  • 4
    Remove from heat and uncover.  Sprinkle with cheese and parsley and let stand 5 minutes to allow sauce to thicken.
