  • 4 cups Bugles™ original flavour corn snacks
  • 4 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 1/4 lb/625 g (about 3 breasts) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1x1-inch pieces
  • Dipping sauce such as ketchup, bbq sauce, honey mustard, plum sauce

    Heat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

    Place Bugles™ in a large resealable food storage bag. Crush with a rolling pin or if you don’t have a rolling pin, pound with the back of a ladle or large spoon.

    In a medium bowl, stir together crushed Bugles™, cheese, paprika, pepper, garlic and onion powder.

    In a small bowl, stir together melted butter and milk. Dip chicken into butter mixture, then roll in Bugles™ mixture to coat evenly. Place on baking sheet.

    Bake 10 minutes; turn nuggets over and bake about 8 minutes longer or until coating is golden and chicken is no longer pink in the centre. Serve with dipping sauce, if desired.

Expert Tips

  • Tip 1
    Substitution: Nacho cheese flavoured Bugles™ instead of original flavour works great in this recipe. Try dipping these in ranch dressing.
  • Tip 2
    Make dipping easy: Use one hand for butter dipping and dropping chicken into cereal mixture, then the other hand for cereal dipping and turning.
