Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Seeds

This recipe puts a sweet spin on pumpkin seeds. ...MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups (375 mL) pumpkin seeds, rinsed and patted dry with paper towels

2 tbsp (30 mL) butter, melted

2 tbsp (30 mL) sugar

1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) ground cinnamon

Heat oven to 325ºF.

In small bowl, mix all ingredients. Spread on ungreased cookie sheet in single layer.

Bake about 20 minutes, stirring once or twice, until seeds begin to brown. Cool.

Tip: Rinse off as much of the pulp as you can from the seeds, but do not worry if a small amount remains.
Tip: Add a little bit of salt for a sweet and salty twist.
