These buns will have you thinking you’ve traveled to Paris without ever leaving Quebec!


  • 1 package of Grands ! Pillsbury cinnamon buns
  • 1/3 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup of maple flakes
  • 250 ml of 35% whipping cream

    Bake the buns as indicated on the package.

    During the final 10 mins of baking, whip the cream together with ¾ of the maple syrup.

    Take the rest of the syrup and combine it with the icing included in the buns’ container.

    When the buns are ready, allow them to cool.

    Next, cut them in half.
  • 6
    Put whipped cream on the bottom half of the bun.
  • 7
    Sprinkle with maple flakes and cover with the top half of the bun.

    Drizzle the icing on top and sprinkle with more maple flakes.

  • Variation: you can also adorn the top of the bun with caramel popcorn to add a bit of crunch.
