Ingredients

  • 4 cups (1 L) Multi-Grain Cheerios™ cereal
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) dried banana chips
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) roasted whole almonds
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) roasted salted hulled pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) sweetened dried cranberries

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) honey
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt

Steps

    Spray 13x9-inch pan with non-stick cooking spray. In large bowl, mix Cheerios, banana chips, almonds, pepitas and cranberries; set aside.

    In 1-quart/L saucepan, cook and stir all Syrup ingredients over medium-low heat, until mixture starts to boil. Remove from heat and pour over cereal mixture; gently toss to coat. Press in pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes before cutting into bars (5 rows by 3 rows). Store tightly covered at room temperature.
