This grown-up punch is boozy, slushy and makes enough to fill your biggest punch bowl; in other words, it’s perfect for summer parties. We start with an easy, icy vodka-spiked watermelon granita, and flood it with tangy lemonade for the ultimate sipper of the season.

Ingredients

  • 12 cups diced watermelon
  • 3/4 cup honey or simple syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups vodka
  • 8 cups lemonade, chilled
  • 12 watermelon slices (for garnish, if desired)

Steps

    In a blender or food processor, puree watermelon, honey and vodka together, working in small batches if needed.
  • 2
    Pour watermelon mixture into a large, freezer-safe container and freeze overnight.
  • 3
    To serve, grate watermelon mixture with a fork and add to a punch bowl.

    Pour lemonade over frozen mixture in punch bowl and stir to mix.
  • 5
    Serve immediately. Garnish individual glasses with watermelon slices, if desired.
