Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes, undrained
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Steps

    In 2-quart saucepan, heat oil and onion over medium heat 1 minute.
  • 2
    Add tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in sugar. Cook 4 minutes, crushing tomatoes with back of wooden spoon and stirring occasionally.

    Spread sauce on crusts as directed for favourite pizza recipe.
