Season pork chops with salt and pepper and place in hot grill pan. Cook 4 to 5 minutes. Flip pork chops and cook on second side for 3 to 4 minutes more.
  • 4

Top with tomatoes and fresh basil before serving.

Expert Tips

  • To Grill: Cook pork chops over a grill heated to high, then flip to second side and reduce heat to medium-low. Place cheese on top of pork chops, close the grill and cook until cheese is melted and meat is cooked through (internal temperature of 145°F).
  • Summer wouldn’t be the same without Caprese that killer combo of ripe tomato, fresh mozzarella and fragrant basil. And while we’re always up for a Caprese salad, these simple Caprese Pork Chops take top honours for summertime meals.
