Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 count) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescents
  • 8 teaspoons extra-crunchy peanut butter
  • 8 teaspoons jam (any flavour)
  • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoons sugar

    Heat oven to 375°F. On cutting board, unroll dough; separate into 8 triangles. From centre of 1 longest side to opposite point, cut each triangle in half, making 16 smaller triangles.

    Place 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter on centre of each triangle; top with 1/2 teaspoon jam. Bring corners to centre over filling, overlapping ends; press gently to seal. Place on ungreased baking sheet.

    Brush each lightly with cream; sprinkle with sugar.

    Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Jam works best for this recipe and I also prefer the extra-crunchy peanut butter because I think the crunch gives it a nice texture.
  • I prefer using coarse natural sugar as the topping but regular white granulated sugar will work, too.
