Strawberry Champagne Punch

Strawberry-champagne punch ready in 30 minutes! Impress your guests with this cold drink!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) water
  • 1 (3-oz.) pkg strawberry flavour gelatin
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed (half 12-oz can)
  • 2 cups (500 mL) cold water
  • 1 (750 mL) bottle rose wine, chilled
  • 1 (750 mL) bottle champagne, chilled
  • 2 cups (500 mL) fresh strawberries with stems, frozen

Steps

    Bring water to a boil in small saucepan. Add gelatin; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Cool 15 minutes.

    In punch bowl, combine lemonade concentrate, cold water and gelatin mixture; mix well.

    Just before serving, stir in wine, champagne and frozen strawberries.

  • Variation: An unexpected ingredient - strawberry-flavoured gelatin - gives this punch velvety smooth texture.
