Make sandwich cookies for your loved ones! Fill with either icing, ice-cream or sherbet. They will thank you for it!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Pillsbury* Red Velvet Cookies
  • 1 tub Betty Crocker* Creamy Deluxe* or Whipped Frosting (Vanilla or White)
  • Candy sprinkles (if desired)

Steps

    Make 18 cookies as directed on cookie package. Let cool completely.
  • 2
    Spread generous amount of frosting or softened ice cream or sherbet on bottom of one cookie. Top with second cookie and press together gently. If desired, roll edges in candy sprinkles. Repeat to make 9 cookie sandwiches.
  • 3
    For frosting cookie sandwiches, store covered in refrigerator. If making ice cream or sherbet sandwich cookies, place in freezer to become firm before wrapping individually in aluminum foil.
