Ingredients

  • 6 cups (1.5 L) Rice Chex Cereal
  • 2 cups (500 mL) bite-size pretzel twists
  • 2 cups (500 mL) mixed nuts
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Creole seasoning
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) red pepper sauce

    In large microwaveable bowl, mix cereal, pretzels and nuts.

    In 2-cup microwaveable measuring cup, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in Creole seasoning and pepper sauce. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.

    Microwave uncovered on High 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.
