MultiGrain Cheerios™ cereal, almonds and dried cranberries make for a delicious snack to keep you going all day long.

Ingredients

  • 7 cups (1.75 L) MultiGrain Cheerios™ cereal
  • 2 cups (500 mL) roasted salted whole almonds
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) butter
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) honey
  • 1 cup (250 mL) sweetened dried cranberries

Steps

    In large microwavable bowl, mix cereal and almonds.

    In 2-cup (500 mL) microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter and honey uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until mixture comes to a full boil and butter is melted. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 2 to 4 minutes, stirring every minute, until mixture is well coated and looks glazed.

    Stir in cranberries; mix well. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.
