Giant Cookie with Ice Cream

Try this instead of a cake for a special occasion — it makes a nice change.

  • 1 pkg (510 g) Pillsbury* Refrigerated Chocolate Chip or Chocolate Chunk Cookies
  • 2 cups (500 mL) Ice cream, any flavour
  • Chocolate or butterscotch sauce
  • candies for decorating, if desired

    Heat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • 2
    Press cookie dough evenly into bottom of greased 12 inch (30 cm) pizza pan.

    Bake for 13 to 16 minutes. Cool on rack.

    Top with ice cream, spreading almost to edges. Drizzle with sauce.

    Freeze until firm. Remove. Cut into wedges to serve. (If necessary, let stand at room temperature a few minutes for ease in cutting.)

  • Tip: To send a greeting to the one you love, pipe message using prepared icing and decorate with their favourite treats.
