Irish Cream French Toast Bake

An incredibly easy to make recipe, made with challah bread and Irish cream! No more waiting for each piece of French toast to cook with this recipe! Make it, bake it and devour it. It's absolutely delicious! Recipe by

  • 1 loaf challah bread, cut into 1-inch slices
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/3 cup Irish cream liqueur
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter

    Preheat the oven to 425ºF.

    In a bowl, mix together all ingredients except bread.

    Place the bread, in two layers, in a well-greased square baking pan.

    Pour the egg and milk mixture evenly over the bread and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes until it is all soaked into the bread.

    Bake for 25 minutes, then place 5 thin slices of butter on the top of the bread and bake for another 5 minutes, or until done.

    Serve with butter and plenty of syrup.
