So You Think You Can Disco Dance Party

Invitations:

• Trace a CD onto a piece of silver bristle board. Cut it out and print all the party details onto it.

Décor:

• Turn a room in your home into a disco. Hang streamers and balloons; replace lighting with coloured bulbs.
• Get a disco ball and hang it from the centre of the ceiling.
• Set up a glitter table where girls can add some sparkly makeup, and a temporary hair colour station for the boys.

Food & drink:

• Pizza's always a big hit. Try chicken club pizza or hearty Mexican pizza.
• Set up a table with munchies like chips, dip, such as holiday Mexican vegetable dip or southwestern dip, pretzels and juice so they can help themselves throughout the evening.
• When your dancing queens and kings need a sugar boost, our Groovy Jeans Cake is just the thing.

Fun & games:

• Before the party gets rocking, play Name that Tune. Let the CD play a few notes, and see which person can guess what the song is.
• Have a lip-synching contest.
• Play music and let the kids party all night long. (OK, so maybe not all night long.)
