Make this delicious butterscotch pie using Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts. Perfect for dessert!

Ingredients

  • ½ box (1 crust) Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Steps

    Heat oven to 350°F. Place pie crust in 9-inch glass pie plate as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie.

    In medium bowl, mix brown sugar and flour with wire whisk. Add butter, eggs, vanilla and salt; mix well. Stir in butterscotch chips. Pour into crust-lined plate.

    Bake 40 to 42 minutes or until top is browned and filling is set. Cool completely before slicing, about 3 hours.

  • Flavour Tip This simple dessert tastes like a cross between chess pie and pecan pie. Expect a slightly gooey filling. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
