These biscuits are wonderful for the brunch table or passed around as a delicious hors d'ouevres.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) each red and greed pepper strips
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) dried basil
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) olive oil
  • 1 can (340 g) Pillsbury* Country Biscuits
  • 2 tbsp (25 mL) grated parmesan cheese

Steps

    Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • 2
    In skillet, cook and stir peppers, onion, basil and oil for 1 minute. Separate dough into 10 pieces.

    On greased baking sheet, flatten each biscuit to 4-inch (10 cm) circle. Top with pepper mixture; sprinkle with cheese.

    Bake for 15 to 17 minutes. Serve warm.
