Ingredients

  • 8 cups (2 L) Rice Chex* Cereal
  • 4 cups (1 L) shoestring potatoes
  • 2 cups (500 mL) bite-size cheese crackers
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) bacon flavour bits or chips
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) butter or margarine
  • 1 pkg (1 oz/28 g) ranch dressing and seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated Parmesan cheese

Steps

    In large microwaveable bowl, mix cereal, potatoes, crackers and bacon flavour bits.

    In small microwaveable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 30 seconds or until melted. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated. Stir in dressing mix and cheese until evenly coated.

    Microwave uncovered on High 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.
