Chex cereal adds a light cereal crunch plus a nutritional boost to peanut brittle candy and makes a great treat!

Ingredients

  • 8 cups (2 L) Rice Chex* cereal
  • 1 cup (250 mL) salted peanuts
  • 1 can (300 mL) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla

Steps

    Heat oven to 325ºF. Spray two 15x10x1-inch pans with cooking spray.

    In large bowl, mix all ingredients until evenly coated. Spread in pans in single layer.

    Bake 12 minutes. Spread on waxed paper to cool, about 15 minutes. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container.
