Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Delicious as an appetizer or a side dish! Bacon-wrapped asparagus with a sweet sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (375 g) bacon
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt

    1. Preheat oven to 400° F.

    2. Trim tougher ends off of asparagus bottoms. Wrap bundles of 3-4 pieces of asparagus with a slice of bacon.

    3. Place bacon-wrapped asparagus bundles into greased casserole dish.

    4. In a small sauce pan, melt butter and add brown sugar, soy sauce and garlic salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

    5. Pour brown sugar/butter mixture over asparagus bundles.

    6. Bake for 25 minutes.
