2 cans (each 340 g) Pillsbury* Flaky Rolls (or Pillsbury* Country Biscuits)
1/3 cup (75 mL) pizza sauce
80 slices pepperoni
1 3/4 cups (425 mL) shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp (2 mL) Italian seasoning

    Heat oven to 375ºF (190°C).

    Separate dough into 10 biscuit pieces. Put two pieces together (one on top of other) and press to flatten into 6-inch (15 cm) circle. Spread 1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) pizza sauce on each round to within 1/2 -inch (1.25 cm) of edge. Place 4 slices of pepperoni in centre of each round; top with 3 tbsp (45 mL) cheese and 4 more slices of pepperoni. Fold dough in half over filling; press edges with fork to seal. Brush each sandwich with water and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

    Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Tip: If you only want to make 5 “pockets” instead of 10, just use one can of Pillsbury biscuits and freeze half of the meat mixture for another meal occasion.
